This morning, the direct negotiation sessions between the government delegations and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) resumed in the north of the Abdelaziz El-Hilu wing, in Juba, after the decision to extend the negotiations for another week to agree on the contentious points between the two parties to put the final draft of the framework agreement, according to the Sudan News Agency, Juba.
The government delegation was headed by a member of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Shams El-Din Al-Kabbashi, head of the government delegation, while Ammar Amoun, Secretary-General of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement, headed the delegation of the SPLM-Jin al-Hilu, in the presence of the head of the mediation team, Tut Galwak, the president's advisor for security affairs, a representative of the UNITAMS mission and representatives of international and regional organizations.
It should be noted that the round of negotiations between the government and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement, north of Jinnah, was launched on the twenty-sixth of last May in Juba, the capital of South Sudan.
