Al-Ahly club officials have finalized the deal of Karim Fouad, the right-back of the Al-Nujoom team, and it is certain that the player will move to the red box next season.
Despite the recent statements about the player receiving offers from foreign clubs, specifically from Portugal, Al-Ahly confirms that the deal will take place next season.
Karim Fouad is considered one of the important solutions for Al-Ahly on the right front, after Ahmed Ramadan Beckham failed to prove himself in this position when he participated as an alternative to the main back, Mohamed Hani.
Al-Ahly obtained Karim Fouad’s signature a while ago, and the player informed the Stars Administration of his desire to move to Al-Ahly only, without other clubs in Egypt or abroad.
And “The Seventh Day” learned that Al-Ahly’s termination of the deal with the player and the latter’s announcement of his desire to wear the red shirt was a reason for Enppi to withdraw from the deal, even though the Petroleum Club wanted to include the player who starred with him on loan that ends at the end of the current season.
Karim Fouad plays in Enppi on loan from the stars, and the loan ends at the end of the current season, and Enppi has the right to buy the player permanently by activating the penalty clause, which is worth 15 million pounds.
Although Enppi was initially thinking of including the young player with the 15 million pound weapon, the recent weeks witnessed a decline in Enppi's position due to Karim Fouad's request to move to Al-Ahly, which made the Petroleum Club decline to include the player.
