Wolfgang Mokstein, Austrian Minister of Health, announced that the "green corona passport" will be implemented in Austria as of next Friday, and that it will be circulated in all European Union countries on July 1.
"The passport will prove the individual's condition according to the three levels, which are receiving the vaccine, recovering from the virus, or conducting a recent medical examination," Mukstein said.
He indicated that the members of the European Parliament are scheduled to approve tomorrow (Tuesday) the mechanism of the new passport and the symbols it contains, explaining that the green passport will make travel within Europe much easier again.
He added that the new passport will spread gradually, and this proof will be valid throughout the European Union as of next July, noting that the passport can be used digitally on a mobile phone or electronic health card.
