Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney expressed his country's concern about the violence in East Jerusalem, and the threat of eviction in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and Coveney demanded in his tweet on Twitter, the necessity to stop the evictions and demolitions.

He urged Israel to reverse its decision on building settlement units in Har Homa, the lands of Jabal Abu Ghneim, south of Jerusalem, as they are illegal under international law, and undermine the chances for peace and the two-state solution.

The Palestinian National Council considered the brutal Israeli aggression that is now based on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the worshipers in it as an aggression against Muslims and their sanctities, and a violation of all customs, religious laws and sanctities.

The National Council said in a statement issued by its president, Salim al-Zanoun, on Friday, that the Israeli occupation forces began their aggression and continuous storming of the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, desecrating its sanctity and assaulting the lives of its worshipers and its defenders, which caused dozens of injuries among them.
