Barcelona issued an official statement on its official website and account on Twitter, stating that Aguero signed a contract with Barca for two seasons until 2022-2023, and the contract stipulated the existence of the penalty clause for Sergio's contract with Barcelona, which amounts to 100 million euros.
The statement added that the player's contract signing ceremony is at seven in the evening, and Aguero will also conduct the filming session for his reception at 7:15, provided that the press conference on introducing the player will be held at eight in the evening Cairo time.
The statement added that Barcelona and Sergio "Con" Aguero reached an agreement to join the club as of July 1, where he terminated the second contract clause with Manchester City, and the player will sign a contract at the end of the 2022/23 season and will have a termination clause of 100 million euros.
