The Belgian Defense Ministry said in Brussels, that requests for assistance will be processed and equipment deployed at the provincial level in coordination with emergency services at the sites, and the army will carry out support operations in several provinces by deploying trucks to carry out evacuations of the population.
This alert level is the highest in Belgium and has not been activated in the country since 2010.
