Tite refuses to reveal Brazil's squad to face Peru in the Copa America

Brazil coach Adenore Leonardo Bacchi "Tite" refused to reveal the line-up of his country that will face Peru in the Copa America today, Thursday, so that the coach of the Inca team, Ricardo Gareca, does not set his plan and stop the keys to playing the Canary team.

"If the names of the players are revealed, he will know the strategy we will play with and he will be able to neutralize it because he knows us well," Tite said, at a press conference held in Teresopolis, where the Brazilian team played its last training before traveling to Rio de Janeiro to play today's match.

The Brazilian coach confirmed that Gareca has a lot of experience and that any information that is revealed will know how to benefit from it, and added, "We have faced Gareca several times. He spent more time with Peru than us in the Brazilian team, and he is fully in charge."

And it was confirmed that some players participated in the press conference, and they are midfielder Fabinho (Liverpool), who will replace Casemiro (Real Madrid); And goalkeeper Ederson (Manchester City), who is on the rotation with Alisson (Liverpool) and Weverton (Palmeiras).

Although he did not want to mention the other players who would start, in recent training sessions he has brought in a new attacking trio, including Neymar (Paris Saint-Germain), Gabigol (Flamingo) and Everton Cipolinha (Benfica).

Tite admitted that despite Brazil's superiority in both the qualifiers and the FIFA rankings and the victory over Peru in the 2019 Copa America final, Thursday's match will not be easy.

"In the qualifiers, we beat them 2-4 in Lima, but it was a very difficult match, and this result did not reflect the difficulties we faced," he said.

Both Tite and his assistant Kleber Xavier confirmed that it is impossible to compare Paulo Guerrero, the Peruvian national team star who missed the Copa America due to injury, with Gianluca Lapadula, the Italian striker, the Peruvian, but they acknowledged their concern about the danger of the second.

Tite concluded his statements by saying, "It is not fair to compare Guerrero to Lapadola, each of them has its value."

Brazil faces Peru on Thursday at Nilton Santos Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, and it has qualified for the final price in the event of a victory.

The samba team leads the group with three points by defeating Venezuela, as well as Colombia, who defeated Ecuador with a clean goal in their first appearance.
