The Polish authorities issued a warning to citizens due to the stormy weather that hit parts of the country, and Radio Poland - in its English-language bulletin on Wednesday, stated that the authorities warned citizens to stay in open spaces, and also asked them to stay away from swimming and water activities for the time being.
For its part, the country's firefighting authorities reported that they received last night more than 160 calls to request help and deal with the damage caused by the stormy weather, especially in the south and southwest of the country.
