Moroccan press reports revealed today, Thursday, that Al-Ahly club has approached the signing of Sufyan Rahimi, the striker of the Raja team, during the upcoming summer transfer season, after the end of the current season, in order to strengthen its offensive line in the coming seasons.
The Moroccan newspaper Al-Mukhtab reported that Al-Ahly is very close to reaching a final formula to include Sufian Rahimi for its ranks during the summer transfers.
The Moroccan newspaper indicated that Al-Ahly offered $ 5 million to Raja Club to join Rahimi, after negotiations took 10 days between the two sides.
The newspaper stated that this issue is expected to be revealed in the next few days after Moroccan defender Badr Bannon played a major role in persuading the Century Club to include Rahimi to its ranks.
Sofiane Rahimi, 24, played 26 games with Raja this season in various competitions, scoring 10 goals and making 8.

Previous reports indicated that Al-Ahly places Rahimi on his list of priorities in the summer contracts to consolidate his offensive line, in preparation for the new season's competitions, as part of Al-Ahmar's plan to recruit a player who is distinguished by scoring abilities that Al-Ahly has been missing recently.

The site indicated that Al-Ahly officials also contacted the agent of Ben Yoaari, the striker of Al-Raja, to sign him at the beginning of the new season, and Al-Ahly officials are preparing to make an official offer to Al-Raja to sign with the top scorer of the African Nations competition for the locals.
The site stressed that Musimani, the technical director of the Al-Ahly club, gave the green light to his team's officials regarding opening the door to negotiations with Raja to include Yusef Rahimi in the ranks of the team to associate with his colleague Badr Bannon, Al-Ahly's defender.
