Ramos comments on the decision to exclude him from Spain's list in Euro 2020


Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos commented on the decision of Luis Enrique, coach of the Spanish national team, to exclude him from the list of the team participating in the Euro 2020 finals, which will start this summer.


Enrique announced the list of Spain's national team participating in the "Euro 2020", which starts from June 11 to July 11, after it was postponed from last summer due to the repercussions of the spread of the Corona virus, Covid-19.


Sergio Ramos said in comments on his official account on the "Twitter" site, "After a few difficult months, and a strange season, unlike any season I lived in my career, the euro comes."


Ramos added, "I have fought and worked every day, both physically and mentally, to be able to reach my full readiness for Real Madrid and the national team, but things do not always go the way we wish."


The Real Madrid captain added, "It hurts me not to be able to help my team, and not to play for Spain, but in this case the best thing to do is rest and recover completely and come back next year, although it is painful not to represent my country."

He concluded, "In all honesty and sincerity, I wish all of my team-mates all the best of luck, and I hope that we will appear in a wonderful way, and I will be a fan of the team from home. Thanks to everyone and always long live Spain and Hala Madrid."
