Militants attack oil wells in northern Iraq


Western media quoted security and oil sources today, Wednesday, that armed men attacked oil wells in a field in northern Iraq, while production operations were not affected by that attack.


It should be mentioned that the Iraqi Council of Ministers approved the recommendation of the Supreme Committee for Health and National Safety to impose a comprehensive curfew for a period of 10 days, from May 12 to the 22 of the same month; This is to limit the spread of the Corona pandemic and apply preventive measures through social distancing and other preventive conditions, especially after the Ministry of Health recently recorded an increase in the number of injuries throughout Iraq.


And according to the Iraqi News Agency (NINA), that the decision to ban the comprehensive curfew included the closure of restaurants, cafeterias, cafes, cinemas, parks, banquet halls, weddings, sports halls, etc., as well as preventing all forms of human gatherings.
