Major General Essam Saad, Governor of Assiut, greeted all children in institutions and orphanages on the occasion of Orphan’s Day, which falls on the first Friday of April every year, stressing that they will always be the subject of care, care and attention and are appreciated by everyone.
The governor of Assiut - in a statement issued today by the Governorate Information Office on the occasion of the orphan’s day - indicated that the Almighty Almighty recommended caring for the orphan and providing all aspects of support and assistance to him, citing the saying of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “I and the sponsor of the orphan are like these in paradise and he indicated with the index and middle fingers” to show the merit And the status of the sponsor of the orphan with God, stressing the need to pay attention to orphans and take good care of them and provide all their needs in various fields and qualify them to be good members of society.
The governor affirmed his keenness to provide full support to all associations, civil institutions and orphanages, pointing to his frequent visits to them, providing all means of care for children, providing them with opportunities for a decent life and meeting all their needs and demands, indicating that all the executive bodies in the governorate spared no effort in providing support to them through Working to integrate them as an integral part of society, pointing out that caring for orphans and bringing joy and happiness to their hearts is a duty and imposition on all segments of society, which achieves stability and social peace and motivates everyone to give in order to achieve social justice.
In another context, Major General Essam Saad, Governor of Assiut, announced the start of the first national campaign of immunization against nodular skin disease and sheep and goat pox disease tomorrow, Saturday 3 April 2021, in all centers and villages of the governorate, according to the vaccination plan that was announced to preserve livestock.
The governor of Assiut issued directives to the heads of local and village units to coordinate and communicate directly with officials of the veterinary medicine sector and to provide the required facilities and facilities to fully achieve the target of the campaign and educate citizens and livestock owners about the importance of vaccination in protecting and preserving animals and eliminating diseases and epidemics that affect livestock.
The governor appealed to all livestock keepers, in cooperation with doctors and assistants working in the campaign, to vaccinate all livestock, as vaccination represents the utmost necessity to protect livestock from the danger of these destructive diseases to livestock and the national economy, directed to intensify the work of veterinary guidance committees to educate citizens and invite them to attend vaccination committees scattered in villages and dependencies at the level of Governorate centers for the benefit of breeders to preserve and protect livestock from diseases in order to increase their productivity, as vaccination is the only way to protect them from these dangerous diseases.
For his part, Dr. Mamdouh Badari, Director of the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine, explained that the campaign is carried out according to the directions of the Minister of Agriculture and Head of the General Authority for Veterinary Services and under the auspices of the Governor of Assiut, and aims to vaccinate 87,000 cattle and 57,000 sheep and goats through veterinary teams roaming villages and cities, explaining that For the first time, the specialized nettle vaccine will be used against nodular skin disease, indicating the readiness of all vaccination, numbering and registration teams in all different veterinary departments.
