6 people were injured in an explosion in eastern Afghanistan


The Afghanistan Electricity Distribution Corporation announced that six people were injured in an explosion targeting a car carrying employees working for it in Nangarhar Province, eastern Afghanistan.


The company stated - in a statement carried by the Afghan TV Channel, Thursday, that the accident occurred at about nine o'clock in the morning local time in the city of Jalalabad, and resulted in the injury of four of its employees in addition to two civilians, including a woman.


No one has yet claimed responsibility for the explosion.
