English press reports revealed Barcelona's willingness to offer Brazilian player Philippe Coutinho in a reciprocal deal with his English counterpart, Arsenal, in order to obtain Gabonese striker Pierre Aubameyang.
And according to the English “Sky Sports” network, the La Liga giant is ready to offer former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho in a swap deal as part of the contract deal with the Arsenal captain.
Earlier on Monday, Barcelona president Joan Laporta revealed that the club owed £1.15 billion.
Aubameyang, 32, signed a new three-year contract with Arsenal last year until 2024.
The Gabonese striker missed Arsenal's opening round of Premier League defeat against Brentford on Friday due to illness.
Aubameyang, who joined Arsenal for £60m in January 2018, scored 14 goals for the north London club last season as Mikel Arteta's side missed out on European qualification for the first time in 25 years.
Barcelona tried to sign England striker Tammy Abraham from Chelsea, Sky Italia reported, before Roma signed him.
Abraham, 23, completed his medical in Rome on Sunday before completing his permanent move to the Italian club for a fee of £34m.
