The spokesman for the Scientific Committee for the Follow-up of the Corona Virus in Algeria, Dr. Jamal Fourar, announced today that 495 cases of the Corona virus were recorded and 10 deaths in one day.
And the spokesman said - in his daily press conference - that the total number of injuries rose to 141,966 cases, while the total deaths rose to 3765 deaths.
He added that the total number of cases that recovered reached 99,109 cases, after 361 cases were cured within one day, explaining that most of the deaths were among the elderly, noting that there were 34 injured in intensive care.
The highest number of corona infections in Algeria was 1,133 in one day, and it was recorded on November 28.
He stated that most of the injuries were concentrated in the state of Blida, which is 36 km west of Algiers, and a complete quarantine had been imposed on it since March 24, 2020 for a month, due to the spread of infection cases.
The Algerian authorities impose a curfew due to Corona from midnight to 4 am in 19 states, including Algiers.
