Turkish press reports revealed today, Monday, that the Turkish professional club Galatasaray, within its ranks, the Egyptian international, Mostafa Mohamed, the Zamalek striker, on loan, has begun to move seriously to resolve the deal for Al-Ahly midfielder Aliu Diang.
Al-Ahly midfielder Aliou Diang became one of the most important players in the team during the current period, after he starred remarkably with his club recently, which made him one of the most wanted players in Europe and the Gulf next season.
The Turkish newspaper, "Takvim", said that the Galatasaray club had begun to move to resolve the deal for Al-Ahly's first-team midfielder, Alio Diang, in the current summer Mercato.
According to the Turkish newspaper, one of the members of the new board of directors responsible for deals in Galatasaray, Istan John, received a request from the team's coach, Fatih Tarim, to include some new players, led by Diang.
The newspaper added, Tarim wants to sign Diang to support the Galatasaray midfield next season, after his brilliance in Al-Ahly matches and financial follow-up during the current season.
According to the report, the Galatasaray administration began negotiating with Al-Ahly to include Diang on loan with the option to buy, as it did with the former Zamalek striker, Mustafa Mohamed.
Diang is considered one of the most important players in Al-Ahly this season, and coach Pitso Mosimane relies on him on an ongoing basis, especially in the African Champions League, where he reached the final and faced Kaizer Chiefs.
The Malian international is one of the reasons for Al-Ahly’s victory over Esperance in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League after making a goal, Mohamed Sherif, at Rades Stadium 10 days ago.
Diang's contract with Al-Ahly expires in 2026, after he came to him in the summer of 2019 from the ranks of Mouloudia Algiers.
