The Sultanate of Oman announced that the total number of people who received anti-Coronavirus vaccines in the Sultanate amounted to 435,090 people, or 12%, since the beginning of the campaign until yesterday.
The Oman News Agency indicated that the total of those who received the first dose amounted to 264,335 people, or 61%, while the total vaccinated with two doses reached 170,755 people, or 39%.
The Omani Ministry of Health continues the vaccination campaign for those who deserve the second dose with the anti-Coronavirus vaccines who received the first dose and 10 weeks or more have passed, and the vaccination with the first dose for the employees of the state administrative apparatus.
The Ministry seeks to cover the entire target population with the anti-Coronavirus vaccine aged 12 years and over, which is equivalent to 70% of the population, and it is implemented in phases according to vaccine supplies in accordance with the National Immunization Strategy.
