A large discrepancy in the price of gold factories in the Egyptian market. You may find that there are factories of 20 pounds per gram, and other works that reach 250 pounds per gram. So what is the secret behind this great discrepancy in the manufacture of gold?
Here, Nagy Farag, advisor to the Minister of Supply for the gold industry, confirmed that there is a clear discrepancy in the prices of gold factories in Egypt from one producing company to another, noting that the price of workmanship is determined according to the “work” in each gold piece, and there are factories for some companies and famous brands that reach up to 250 pounds.
Farag added, in statements to "The Seventh Day", that some producers set a fixed price for the gold piece, and the price of the gold "cole" in some brands may reach 60,000 pounds, and here we cannot know the status of its workmanship because it is very high.
The advisor to the Minister of Supply for the gold industry indicated that some popular work has few factories and has a "customer", and the expensive pieces have their consumer, so the market collects all types and workmanship, and the consumer is the final decision-maker, you may find workmanship of 20 pounds per gram and other workmanship up to 250 pounds per gram, and the key here is the size of the workpiece in each piece of gold.
It is noteworthy that the last price recorded by gold in Egypt is 800 pounds per gram of 21 karat, which is the main caliber, and here without adding the price of workmanship, and 18 karat gold recorded a price of 686 pounds per gram.
