Oil prices are above $75 a barrel, and Brent is at $75.10

Today, oil prices recorded $75.10 a barrel for the global benchmark Brent crude futures contract, and US West Texas Intermediate crude futures recorded $73.56 a barrel.

According to international media reports, the rise in oil prices today, Tuesday, above the level of $75 a barrel since April 2019 comes as a result of expectations of a recovery in global demand for crude oil.

Crude oil prices recorded their fourth consecutive weekly gain at the end of trading sessions in the futures markets last Friday, as Brent crude contracts rose by 1.1% compared to the end of the previous week, and US West Texas crude contracts rose by 1%.
