Mustafa Abda returns to Al-Ahly channel next Saturday, and Hassan Hamdi is the guest of the first episodes

Finally, Mustafa Abdo, one of the most prominent stars of the Red Castle, will appear on Al-Ahly Club channel, next Saturday at eleven in the evening, to present his “Hungarian” program.

In its first episodes, Al-Majari will host Captain Hassan Hamdy, former president of Al-Ahly Club, in the Al-Mufahat dialogue, and talk about many scenes, stories and memories within the walls of the Red Castle, for many decades.

It is noteworthy that Captain Mustafa Abdo celebrates his 68th birthday today, Thursday. He was born on June 10, 1953 in Cairo. He began his football career in the North Cairo Club in 1968, and he is nicknamed “Al-Magary” due to his high speed while playing matches.

The great sports critic, Naguib Al-Mastakawi, named Ali Mustafa Abdo the nickname "Al-Majari" in reference to that express train that came to Egypt in 1967 from Hungary, where it was something special at the time within the railway fleet, after the great brilliance that the player appeared with the red team.

During the 15 seasons that Mustafa Abdo spent in the Al-Ahly shirt, he achieved “10” league championships, “5” Egypt Cup, and “5” African championships, and participated with Al-Ahly in more than “300” matches, during which he scored “51” goals.

After retiring from football, Mustafa Abdo went to analyze matches and present sports programs until he was appointed head of the community committee in Al-Ahly Club in early 2018 within Mahmoud Al-Khatib’s council, before settling on his return to the “Hungarian” program on Al-Ahly TV channel from next Saturday.
